Walk To Work Day is observed all over the United States on the first Friday of every April. This year it is marked on April 6. Walk To Work Day encourages people to take care of one’s health and to spread the benefits of walking regularly. Walk To Work Day was developed by Prevention magazine during 2004. It was then improved by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Since then the day is started to be celebrated by people all over the world. This day spreads the importance of walking and the benefits gained through walking every day.
