Scud Day comes on July 8 of every year. The Scud Day is also known as Savour the Comic, Unplug the Drama Day. The day encourages you to put aside all of the drama in your life and learn more about working and living with humor and laughter in drama-free zones.
“Don’t Make Assumptions. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.” – Don Miguel Ruiz
History of Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama Day
Stephanie West Allen, Author, and Lawyer created the Scud Day in 2007. She is a part owner of the SCUD Club which is a bi-weekly newsletter with support for and information about living and working with more humor and laughter by spending less time in the Drama zone. Scud Day is to ditch out the drama’s in your life and instead appreciated the comedic value that the issues of life bring to you. Life is only as dangerous as you make it and life is too short to go around stressed and downtrodden. The celebration of Scud Day is a perfect day to remind people of the benefits of consuming more time in the Comic Zone and less in the Drama Zone. So step back, relax, and laugh; leave the dramas of your life.
