On December 13, 2012, the world’s largest Pizza, named Ottavia was made in Rome. The size of Ottavia is 1261.65m², and it was made by Dovilio Nardi, Marco Nardi, Andrea Mannocchi, Matteo Nardi and Matteo Giannotte. It was created with gluten-free to spread the message that Pizza is good for health.
As per the food survey of U.S. Department of Agriculture, nearly 13% of Americans eat Pizza on any given day. According to the study of Foodler (Food delivery provider) in 2013, 37% of North American consumers orders Plain Cheese Pizza, 52% of North Americans orders meat toppings. The top three most ordered toppings are mushrooms, onions and pepperoni. In the USA only, nearly 3 billion of Pizzas are sold on every year, and 17% of US restaurants ate Pizzerias.
