Odie Day

Odie Day comes on August 8 of every year. The Odie Day commemorates the popular fictional character or dog from the Garfield comic strip created by the iconic cartoonist Jim Davis. It also performed in animated television series called Garfield and friends, two live-action feature films and three CGI movies. In the Garfield cartoon universe, Odie is the only character to mature.

History of Odie Day

The origin and creator of Odie Day are still unknown. Odie is remarkably credulous and brainless dog. But the dog is also known for showing extreme care and love. Garfield is seen to play on Odie’s frankness by pushing him off objects or by making fun of him. Nonetheless, their relationship is characterised by their playfulness and love for one another.
