History of National Learn To Swim Day
In 2012, Swimways created the National Learn To Swim Day. Initially, it was a small event, but people started to realise how important it was to have such a day, especially during the month when many swimming pools around the U.S.A was open for the summer. Then corporations like Toys”R”Us and Target joined hands with Swimways in celebrating the Learn To Swim Day by offering the promotions on swimwear.
