History of Games Day

Games Workshop, The British Game production and retail company started the Games day. They are the ones, who started the traditional games like Games backgammon and fantasy universe games like Warhammer. Workshop sponsors the game convention on every year. The inaugural games day was held at Seymour Hall, London on December 20, 1975. The second games day took place in Chelsea Townhall, London on February 12, 1977. Now the Games Convention held regularly in the UK at National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham. It enthusiasts three main games such as Warhammer, Warhammer 40000 and Lord of the Rings. In a short period, the events took the United kingdom’s community by storm and bring many people to build up the high nations gaming scene. The game convention grows rapidly year by year and becomes so popular.
