The National Corn Dog Day has been feasted since the year 1992. Brady Sahnow and Henry Otley have inaugurated the Day for the Corn Dog in Corvallis, Oregon. Since then this Day has been in celebration. The founders of this Day has created this celebration in honour of the saving grace of the corn dogs and the basketball which is the March Madness. Although the first observance of this food feast was informal and involved only corndogs and basketball, it was expanded in the later years with the inclusion of tater tots and beer.
