History of International Artist Day
International Artist Day (IAD) is being celebrated from the year 2004. The celebration of this Day falls on the birthday of Pablo Picasso, a famous Spanish painter. Chris MacClure was the founder and creative director of this celebration day. He is a Canadian Romantic Realist artist in the White Rock, BC. His paintings are an expression of his “Romantic Realist” view about life. They are neither crafty nor painterly. The celebration of the Day is to honour the artists and their contributions to the society. He has worked hard to attain the position of one of the most prominent artists of Canada. Chris MacClure has created IAD to bring recognition to the world of art. He established this Day to celebrate and honour all the ways that artists bring their unique view of life.
Around the world, the artists are working hard in creating their artistic work. The artists are the one who adds beauty to the world we live in. They work with many different mediums. Artists include all the painters, photographers, sculptors, literacy, musicians, dancers, writers, actors, digital artists and more. Over the years, IAD has been grown steadily in popularity globally. More precisely, IAD has taken on a life of its own. Artists and their supporters from everywhere will celebrate IAD. They promote festivals and events to increase the perceptibility of the art and artists in a wide variety of genres.
